OUR QUESTIONS, HIS ANSWERS

-

At what point did you know you were the first quarterback in WPIAL history to pass for more than 3,000

yards in the regular season? It was kind of funny because I never thought that I was even close to coming up to a record. I didn’t realize that until the last game of the season, so it was special doing that with my teammates and going out there that last game of the season and trying to achieve that but still win the game at the same time.

Do you think it’s a little unfair that you didn’t get a chance to add to that total in the playoffs after going 6- 4? After all, you guys went 3- 7 the year before and made the playoffs. Yes, sir. I look at that because we threw for that many yards with only nine games. I can only imagine if we made it to the state championship if we had 16 games. Our goal this year is to play that long into December and

get that PIAA championship.

You’ll have Amahd Pack back as your go- to target. What is the chemistry like between the two of

you and how did you develop it? We constantly stay after practice and work on timing routes and me and him going over what we see and trying to be on the same page. Anytime you have a guy you can go to no matter the circumstance in the game, that’s key. We can come to the line and both see the same thing without having to give signals or anything like that. He knows where I want him to be, and that’s great to have. Do you play fantasy football? Yes sir. Me and my friends, we have a dynasty league. Who are your best players? My best players right now are DeAndre Hopkins and Saquon Barkley.
