NFL to push back franchise tag period
The NFL Players Association and the NFL management council on Sunday pushed back the start of the franchise designation period from Tuesday to Thursday and the period will now end on March 12 instead of March 10, a source told ESPN.

Federica Brignone now leads the World Cup overall standings ahead of Mikaela Shiffrin after winning an Alpine combined event in CransMontana, Switzerland. By earning 100 World Cup points, Brignone opened a gap of 73 to three-time defending champion Shiffrin who has taken an extended break from racing after the death of her father in Colorado.
