Sanders wins N. Mariana Islands vote
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders won the Northern Mariana Islands Democratic caucuses Saturday.
Mr. Sanders won with 84 votes, while former Vice President Joe Biden received 48 votes and two went uncommitted. Mr. Sanders’ win translates to four national delegates, while Mr. Biden gets two.

Mr. Biden has a near 150delegate lead over Mr.
Sanders after the former vice president racked up a series of victories earlier this month that catapulted him to front-runner status.
Officials probe crack on Boeing 737 jet
Federal officials said Friday they are investigating after a 12-inch crack ruptured the skin on a Boeing 737 jet operated by Southwest Airlines, causing the plane to gradually lose cabin pressure.
The incident occurred Monday on a flight from Las Vegas to Boise, Idaho. Flight records show that the pilots began a 6-minute descent from 39,000 feet to 22,000 feet.
At that altitude, the cabin pressure was safe, and the crew completed the flight, said Southwest and the Federal Aviation Administration.
R. Kelly charged for spreading herpes
For months, singer R. Kelly has faced federal charges that he sexually exploited underage girls and young women, but prosecutors added a lurid wrinkle Friday, accusing him of knowingly exposing two people to a venereal disease.
An updated indictment said the singer, whose full name is Robert Kelly, knew he had herpes and yet had unprotected sex with a woman and an underage girl without telling them.
The woman contracted the disease. The girl’s status is not in the filing.
