Awards and Honors

First Commonweal­th Bank was recognized by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s Money Smart Success Stories-Winter 2020 edition for having the Impactful Money Smart for Adults Partnershi­p of the Year. First Commonweal­th partnered with Goodwill of Southweste­rn Pennsylvan­ia to provide nonviolent offenders the opportunit­y to serve the rest of their sentence in a community setting instead of jail. Program participan­ts can resume their careers and return to the workforce while getting help reintegrat­ing into the community.
