HAVE A HOME SELL?

MAKE IT EASY WITH THE HOMEBUYERS OF PITTSBURGH!

-

Selling a home is often one of the hardest decisions to make in your life. When you start by calling a real estate agency, you could be in for a stressful ride that includes making repairs to your home, dealing with inspections, banks, and missed closing dates that cost you thousands. Ryan Scialabba strives to offer a faster and easier solution with his company, HomeBuyers of Pittsburgh, which he started in 2015 with his business partner, Aaron Archibald. Since opening, the team has bought and sold over 275 houses – some requiring closings in as little as 21 days, others needing longer time periods. They’ve been able to help homeowners transition smoothly into assisted living, help families sell recently inherited homes, help people sell properties they simply couldn’t keep up with, have saved homeowners from filing bankruptcy, and even stopped a few foreclosures. “With everything happening in the markets today, we’ve found that people love the certainty in working with us.” Said Mr. Scialabba “Being able to know exactly what they’re walking away with and on the date they’re doing it, is often what makes someone choose us over listing their home”. When the company receives a call from a homeowner, they do an initial qualification of the property and learn more about the situation. They find out where the house is, when it was built, and ask if it needs any repairs or updates. The rest of the call is spent figuring out what the situation is and if they can help. “We tend to buy the same style of homes in the neighborhoods we know very well.” said Mr. Scialabba “Once we get to the house we just like to take a 20-30-minute tour to get an estimate on the cost of renovating it so we can figure out how much we can pay”. As the team walks through the house, they lean on their extensive background in real estate and construction to figure out the cost of renovations needed. Most of the homes they buy need updated kitchens, baths, flooring, paint etc. Other times, the homes need extensive repairs from the roof to the foundation, which usually include French drains and wall anchors. Once the Home Buyers of Pittsburgh team figures out their renovation costs, they input the numbers into their system and present an offer to the seller on the spot. “I always like to sit down and simply ask – how can I help make this as easy as possible for you?” Said Ryan Scialabba “More often than not, people value knowing what they’re going to walk away with and the date they’re going to do it on.” "2020 Is starting off at a great pace for our team as we continue to expand our services in buying single family rentals, multi-family, and commercial buildings.” Said Mr. Scialabba “I’m also extremely proud to be able to work with such a great team – they’re the ones that make it possible to provide unmatched level of service and professionalism.”
