Highlights from major construction projects around Pittsburgh and surrounding areas this week
1. Lime Hollow Road/ Penn Hills: Closed to through traffic between Frankstown Road and Coal Hollow Road continuously through mid-August. 2. Lebanon Road/West Mifflin: Single-lane restrictions between Lebanon Road and Noble Drive and Mifflin Road 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through mid-June. Continuing at 7 p.m. Friday continuously through 5 a.m. June 15. 3. Lovedale Road/Elizabeth: Single-lane alternating traffic at the intersection with Liberty Way 7 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through mid-June. 4. Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge/Downtown:
Closed through summer for rehabilitation. 5. Business Loop Interstate 376/Moon: Ramp from westbound I-376 to Thorn Run Road is closed through early August. 6. Northern Pike/Monroeville: Closed to traffic between Abers Creek Road and Valerie Circle. Detours posted. 7. Noblestown Road/Oakdale Borough: Closed between Hill Road and Gregg Station Road until further notice. Detour posted.
8. Freeport Road, Route 910/Harmar: Single-lane restrictions at various intersections weekdays 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through June. Route 910: from Freeport Road to southbound Route 28 on- and offramps; Freeport Road: from the Hulton Bridge to Alpha Drive East.
9. Route 48/Elizabeth:
Single-lane alternating traffic between the Boston Bridge and Finney Road 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through midJune.
10. Interstate 579/Uptown: Closed to traffic between Center Avenue exit and Bigelow Boulevard overpass 7 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday-Friday on the following schedule: Monday-Tuesday: northbound closed from 7 p.m.-6 a.m.;
Wednesday-Thursday: southbound closed from 7 p.m.-6 a.m.; Friday: southbound closed from 7 p.m.-10 a.m. Saturday. In addition, a closure of the ramp that carries traffic from northbound I-579 to Seventh Avenue through Aug. 6, 2021. Detours posted. 11. Fern Hollow Road, Blackburn Road/Sewickley Heights: Single-lane closures on parts of both roads. Single-lane closure on Fern Hollow just north of Blackburn. Single-lane closure near intersection of the two roads. Both through July. 12. Sewickley Bridge/ Moon, Sewickley: Single-lane alternating traffic as needed on the bridge between Route 65 and Route 51, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through midJune. 13. Mifflin Street/Whitaker Borough: Single-lane alternating traffic between Whitaker Street and Kennywood Boulevard, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through June 26. 14. Saw Mill Run Boulevard/Pittsburgh: Single-lane restrictions in both directions between the Parkway West (I376) and West End Circle continuously through early June. Also, single-lane restrictions 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through mid-June in the following areas: northbound between Crane Avenue and Woodruff Street; southbound between Crane Avenue and I376. 15. Mount Nebo Road/ Ohio Township: Single-lane restrictions in each direction between the I-79 interchange and Arndt Road weekdays 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through late July. 16. Route 28/Pittsburgh:

Heights: Road closed to traffic indefinitely between Woodland and Backbone roads. Detours posted. 18. Route 19/Upper St. Clair: Single-lane restrictions in both directions between Washington County and McMurray Road 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Boulevard of the Allies/Pittsburgh: Single-lane restrictions in both directions as needed between the Liberty Bridge and Oakland from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. 21. Noblestown Road/ North Fayette, Collier: Closed between Gregg Station Road and Nike Road around the clock through mid-August. Detours posted. 22. Second Avenue/Pittsburgh: Inbound (westbound) lane closed between the Armstrong Tunnel and Brady Street through November. Westbound traffic will be shifted to eastbound lane. 23. Spring Run Road/Crescent: Closed near Florence Drive through mid-June. Detours posted. 24. Castle Shannon Boulevard/Castle Shannon: Singlelane alternating traffic between Mt. Lebanon Boulevard and Sunset Drive 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m-10 p.m. Saturday through early August. 25. Road/Franklin Park: Singlelane alternating traffic on the bridge over Big Sewickley Creek between Hopkins Church Road and Amsler Ridge Road will startt 7 a.m. Tuesday, and occur around the clock through midDeceomber.
33. Bates Street/Pittsburgh: Closed between Second Avenue and the Boulevard of the Allies weeknights 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through late July. Additionally, the I376 ramps to and from Bates Street will close to traffic overnights.
34. New England Road/ West Mifflin: Closed near intersection with Amblers Lane through late June. Detours posted. 35. Babcock Boulevard/ Ross: Single-lane alternating traffic at the intersection with Peoples Road 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays through June 12. 36. Route 19/Marshall:
Single-lane restrictions at the intersection of Northgate Drive daily 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through late August. 37. Noblestown Road/ Pittsburgh: Closed to traffic continuously between Crafton Boulevard/Noblestown Road intersection and the Wabash Street/South Main Street intersection through mid-July. Detours posted. 38. Baptist Road/Bethel Park: Single-lane alternating traffic between Cool Springs Drive and Millennium Drive 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through late June. 39. Route 8/Hampton, Richland: Single-lane closures in each direction between Wildwood Road and Northtowne Square 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through early December. Additional times: weeknights 6 p.m.-6 a.m.; 8 p.m. Saturday-10 a.m. Sunday; and 8 p.m. Sunday-6 a.m. Monday. 40. North Road/North Fayette: Single-lane alternating traffic between Noblestown Road and Ivy Street 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. weekdays through mid-August. 41. Bennett Street, North Dallas Avenue/Pittsburgh:
Lane restrictions weekdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. through late July. Bennett Street: Between Nadir Way and Conemaugh Street. North Dallas Avenue: between Simonton Street and Susquehanna Street. 42. Elizabeth Bridge/Elizabeth: Long-term, single-lane restriction northbound on the bridge around the clock. 43. Prospect Road/Baldwin Borough: Closed in the Streets Run Road area from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays starting Monday. Project expected to last a week. 44.
