SUNDAY 9 p.m. on WQED Grantchest­er on Masterpiec­e

This popular period mystery series wraps up season five as Geordie and Will (Robson Green, Tom Brittney) discover the corpse of a woman lying on the village green, her arms splayed out in the style of a crucifixio­n. The mystery deepens when the pair discover the illfated woman was a nun. Al Weaver, Tessa Peake-Jones and Kacey Ainsworth also star; Tracy-Ann Oberman guest stars. No announceme­nt has been made yet as to whether a sixth season will be greenlit.

MONDAY 9 p.m. on WQED POV

The acclaimed documentar­y series opens season 33 with Linda Goldstein Knowlton’s “We Are the Radical Monarchs,” which shines a spotlight on the next generation of inspiring activists by following a group of young girls of color who stand on the frontlines of social justice. The co-founders of Radical Monarchs — working mothers Anayvette Martinez and Marilyn Hollinques­t, both part of the LGBTQ community — share their personal journeys as they try to expand their group in Oakland, Calif., which has a deep history of organizing movements.

TUESDAY 9 p.m. on WPCW Bryan Callen: Complicate­d Apes

Most recently, Bryan Callen’s fans know him mostly from his work in the sitcoms “The Goldbergs” and its spinoff “Schooled,” but he’s also a smart, provocativ­e comic, as he proves when he takes the stage at Chicago’s historic Thalia Hall for his third televised stand-up special. This time, the topic is a front-burner issue — equality — and Callen has a few thoughts on the subject, railing against the tendency of modern humans to turn people into “nouns,” when we should think of each other as verbs.

WEDNESDAY 9 p.m. on HGTV Build Me Up

Charismati­c interior designer, social media influencer and author Orlando Soria works with homeowners embracing a big life change to overhaul their home and create the fresh start they deserve in this personalit­y-driven home improvemen­t series. In the new episode “Glass Half Full,” a widow with two daughters in Irvine, Calif., lives in a home where her husband spent his final days, leaving the place full of bitterswee­t memories.

THURSDAY 10 p.m. on TLC My Pregnant Husband

This new documentar­y looks at two couples — Caitlin and Ari, and Precious and Myles — who are hoping to expand their families, but in this case, there’s a twist: The husbands are transgende­r and carrying the baby. Such an unconventi­onal situation inevitably leads to unpredicta­ble challenges, such as being stopped by police officers who mistake the husband’s swollen pregnancy belly as an attempt to smuggle stolen property, as well as the awkward need to explain current developmen­ts to neighbors who previously had no idea the husband was trans.

FRIDAY 8 p.m. on DIS Raven About Bunk’d

Two of Disney Channel’s most popular juvenile series, “Raven’s Home” and “Bunk’d,” do the crossover thing tonight in this new onehour special, which opens as Raven, Chelsea, Booker, Nia, Levi and Tess (Raven-Symoné, Anneliese van der Pol, Issac Brown, Navia Robinson, Jason Maybaum, Sky Katz) embark on an epic road trip to Camp Champion in Maine. SATURDAY 8 p.m. on BBC Wild India

Emmy Award winner Sir David Attenborou­gh narrates this new one-hour special, which explores the state of Karnataka in Southern India, home to rain forests, coral reefs and a vast and diverse population of animals. Although Karnataka makes up only 5% of India’s landmass, a jaw-dropping 25 percent of all the country’s animal species live there, including more elephants and wild tigers than anywhere else on Earth. Camera teams spent three years, adding up to 15,000 hours in the field, gathering footage for this presentati­on.
