SUNDAY 8 p.m. on DSC Air Jaws: Ultimate Breach Off
Kicking off Shark Week 2020, this new one-hour offering follows three teams of researchers as they return to one of the last hunting grounds featured in the “Air Jaws” franchise. Their mission: to use decoys, underwater cameras and drones to count the number of breaches and collect data on hunting techniques to confirm whether the shark population in this area has started to rebound.
MONDAY 9 p.m. on LIFE Surviving Jeffrey Epstein
The documentary miniseries exploring the alleged criminal activities of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein concludes with two final hours, starting with “No Way Out,” wherein survivors relate how Epstein allegedly saved his most unsavory behavior for his private island, where abuses flourished without any kind of scrutiny. Then, “Avenged” gives the girls a chance to speak on why the July 2 arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, who reportedly groomed them for Epstein, gives them reason to hope justice finally may be served, despite Epstein’s death behind bars.
TUESDAY 9 p.m. on WPCW Tell Me a Story
Frustrated by the police investigation, Jordan (James Wolk) becomes driven to find answers immediately, a hunger that veers into obsession and causes Tim (Sam Jaeger) to become concerned in the new episode “Chapter 3: Greed.” Meanwhile, Kayla (Danielle Campbell) is determined to keep her relationship with Nick (Billy Magnussen) a secret, but Ethan’s (guest star Rarmian Newton) jealousy complicates that situation. Hannah and Gabe (Dania Ramirez, Davi Santos) try to come up with a plan after she makes a stunning discovery. Paul Wesley and Michael Raymond-James also star.
WEDNESDAY 8 p.m. on WTAE United We Fall
After Chuy and Marta (Guillermo Diaz, guest star Olivia Taylor Cohen) get into a heated argument, Bill and Jo (Will Sasso, Christina Vidal Mitchell) agree to let her temporarily move in with them in the new episode “You’re Doing It Wrong.” Elsewhere, when signs seem to suggest Dave (guest star Sam McMurray) is about to pop the question to Sandy (Jane Curtin), Bill starts kicking himself for playing matchmaker to the couple. Ella Grace Helton also stars.
THURSDAY 8 p.m. on WPCW Killer Camp
In “A Killer Finale” for season one, the surviving campmates cast their final votes for who they think the killer is, but two campers get into a conflict over clues they’ve received and mount a final desperate effort to persuade their fellow campers that they’re innocent.
Before the hour is up, the killer is revealed, although the ultimate fight to prevail could go either way. Bobby Mair is the host.
Based on a Valiant Comics character, this 2020 superhero action movie stars Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison, a Marine who is killed in action, then brought back to life with new superpowers by an organization that plans to use him as a weapon. Sam Heughan (“Outlander”), Eiza González, Toby Kebbell, Guy Pearce and Lamorne Morris also star in the film, which launches a projected new cinematic universe, with Diesel expected to reprise his role in upcoming sequels.
SATURDAY 8 p.m. on BBC Earthflight
The series embarks on a grand tour of “Europe” in this new episode, which sends cameras soaring with flocks of cranes and geese over such diverse landscapes as Venice, Italy; Edinburgh, Scotland, and the white cliffs of Dover in Ireland. Meanwhile, white storks leave Africa and struggle to make it through their exhausting flight path to Istanbul, Turkey, a gateway to Europe, while some 20 million starlings perform one of nature’s most dazzling aerial displays over Rome. David Tennant is the narrator.
A terrified cocktail waitress finds herself under attack by an array of malicious entities in the new episode “Haunted by Many.” In other segments, while he’s renovating a structure that formerly housed a brothel, a bed-and-breakfast owner fights off the unwanted but persistent attentions of a succubus. Dan Aykroyd is the narrator.
