APARTMENT FIRE IN ALIQUIPPA

Six people were treated for smoke inhalation following a two- alarm apartment fire in Aliquippa on Friday morning. The blaze was reported at 10 a. m. in the 600 block of Davis Street, according to Beaver County Emergency Services. Aliquippa Fire Chief David Foringer said firefighters rescued a couple who were trapped in their apartment in the single- story building. They and four others who were also inside at the time of the fire were taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
