BRIAN’S KEYS TO VICTORY

-

To win, the Browns must …

Help Kareem. Their star running back will need some room to work with against a defense that hasn’t allowed 100 yards rushing to an opposing backfield yet this year.

Back Baker. Getting the ground game going also means making life easier for Mayfield, who will have Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt coming for him for four quarters.

Match Myles. Garrett will almost certainly do his part up front, but a banged-up secondary needs to get their job done on the back end to make this defense complete.

To win, the Steelers must …

Hunt Kareem. Stopping the league’s most prolific rushing attack will put the Browns in second- and third-and-long, which is where they don’t want to be.

Bully Baker. Using some sacks or takeaways for a fast start will be key against a team that has led at halftime in each game of its four-game winning streak.

Maul Myles. No, not literally; if the Steelers let hard feelings into the equation, that will take their focus away from making sure one of the best pass-rushers in the game doesn’t dominate.
