Highlights from major construction projects around Pittsburgh and surrounding areas this week

1. Rochester Road/ McCandless: Closed through early November between Sloop Road and King William Drive for slide repair.

2. Penn Avenue/Churchill, Wilkinsburg: Lane restrictions between Ardmore Boulevard and Parkway East ramps 7 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through late November.

3. Saxonburg Road/Fawn, Harrison: Closed indefinitely in both directions between Route 908 and Freeport Road. Local traffic permitted, and detours are posted.

4. Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge/Downtown: Closed for rehabilitation.

5. Boyce Road/Robinson: Closed between Ridge Road and just north of eastbound I376 on-ramp continuously beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday through Oct. 21.

6. Northern Pike/Monroeville: Closed to traffic between Abers Creek Road and Valerie Circle. Detours posted.

7. Noblestown Road/Oakdale Borough: Closed between Hill Road and Gregg Station Road until further notice. Detour posted.

8. Route 30/East Pittsburgh/ HIlls/North Braddock: Single-lane restrictions in both directions from the Westinghouse Bridge to Lennox Avenue Monday through Thursday.

9. Dooker’s Hollow Bridge/ North Braddock/East Pittsburgh: Closed for replacement until December 2021.

10. I-579/Uptown: Bedford Avenue ramp to southbound I579 and Seventh Avenue ramp to southbound I-579 closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

11. Verona Road/Penn Hills: Portion of road closed around the clock between Lincoln Road and Route 130. Detour posted.

12. Ne ville Island Bridge( I - 79)/ Glen field Borough: Singlerestrictions in each direction weekdays 9 a.m .-3 p.m.

13. Wetzel Road/Shaler: Single-lane bridge between Little Pine Creek Road and Wise Lane closed continuously for replacement through late October.

14. Jerome Street Bridge/ McKeesport: Single lane in each direction around the clock between Romine Avenue and Gibson Way through late March.

15. Miller Run Road/South Fayette: Closed to traffic continuously between Sygan Road and Presto Sygan Road through 5 p.m. Nov. 1. Detour posted.

16. Route 28/Pittsburgh: Work is scheduled at various locations through early spring.

17. Way Hollow Road/ Edgeworth, Sewickley Heights: Closed to traffic indefinitely between Woodland and Backbone roads. Detours posted.

18. Route 286/ Plum: Singlealternating traffic between Old F ranks town Road and Hialeah Drive through early December on the following schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8 p.m.-5 a.m.; Friday, 8 p.m.-10 a.m.; Saturday, 6 p.m.-10 a.m.

19. McCoy Road/Stowe: Has reopened earlier than expected just northwest of Dunn Street.

20. Thoms Run Road/Collier: Closed just west of Boyds Run Road intersection through October. Detour posted.

21. Second Avenue/Pittsburgh:

Inbound (westbound) lane closed between the Armstrong Tunnel and Brady Street through November. Westbound traffic will be shifted to eastbound lane.

22. McKeesport Road/Elizabeth: Reopened between the Market Street/3rd Avenue intersection and Cemetery Street.

23. Beeler Street, Wilkins Avenue/Pittsburgh: Singlelane alternating traffic daily 7 a.m.-7 p.m. through late October on the following: Beeler Street between Forbes Avenue and Wilkins Avenue; Wilkins Avenue between Beeler Street and South Dallas Avenue; South Dallas Avenue between Wilkins Avenue and Penn Avenue.

24. Sixth Avenue/Rankin: Closed between Kenmawr Avenue and Duquesne Way through late summer 2021. Detours posted.

25. Route 136/Elizabeth: Long-term closure between

Route 51 in Forward and Long Hollow Road. Detours posted.

26. Parkway West/Robinson/Moon/North Fayette: Traffic shifted into two 11-footwide lanes in each direction between Exits 60A and 57 through mid-October.

27. Washington Road/ Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair: Lane restrictions between Orr Road and Highland Road weekdays 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 7 p.m.-5 a.m. through late October.

28. East Elfinwild Road/ Shaler: Closed near its intersection with Route 8 through December. Detours posted.

29. Penn Avenue/Churchill: Single-lane restrictions in both directions between Beulah Road and Greensburg Pike through Nov. 21.

30. Big Sewickley Creek Road/Franklin Park: Singlelane alternating traffic on the bridge over Big Sewickley Creek between Hopkins Church Road and Amsler

Ridge Road around the clock through mid-December.

31. McMichael Road/Collier: Single-lane alternating traffic between Baldwin Road and Noblestown Road from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through late November.

32. Route 19/Marshall: Closed in both directions between Thornhill Road and Northgate Drive beginning 8 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Oct. 19. Detours posted.

33. Forbes Road/Monroeville, Trafford: Closed continuously between Haymaker Road and Westmoreland Road/Stewart Station Drive through mid-November. Detours posted.

34. Route 130/Pitcairn: Single-lane alternating traffic between Haymaker Road and Thomas Street through early December on the following schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m.-6 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m.-10 a.m.

35. Hot Metal Bridge/ Pittsburgh: Traffic shifts and lane narrowing at the intersection with Second Avenue around the clock through late November.

36. Route 88/South Park Township, Bethel Park: Traffic shift to a single lane in both directions between Churchill and Clinton roads around the clock through late October.

37. Fort Duquesne Bridge/ Pittsburgh: Single-lane restriction on the lower deck 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

38. Parkway West (I-376)/ Findlay: Single-lane restrictions westbound between Pittsburgh International Airport exit and I-576 Exit 53 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m weekdays through Oct. 23.

39. Noblestown Road/ Pittsburgh: Single-lane restrictions between Poplar Street and Manley Street from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through late November.

40. Bocktown Road/Crescent: Closed between McGovern Boulevard and Harper Road weekdays from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. through late October.

41. Bethel Church Road/ Bethel Park: Westbound lane closed between Alton Drive and Walther Lane through midDecember.

42. New England Road/ West Mifflin: Part of 3100 block closed until November for replacement of bridge.

43. Greentree Road/Green Tree: Single-lane restrictions between Green Tree shopping center and Parkway Center Drive, parts of Mansfield Avenue and Poplar Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through late October.

44. Mayview Road/South Fayette: Single-lane alternating traffic between Hastings Crescent and Sray Lane until further notice.

45. Mt. Troy Road/Reserve: Closed between Fornof Lane and Ampere Street until late October.

46. Route 8/Hampton: Singlerestriction southbound between South Pioneer Street and Wildwood Road from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through mid-October.

47. Neville Island Bridge/ Neville, Robinson: Single-lane restrictions in each direction on I-79 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through Oct. 23.

48. Saxonburg Boulevard/ O’Hara: Single-lane restrictions between Fugger Road and Fancioni Lane weekdays from 8 a.m.--2 p.m. through Oct. 23.

49. I-79/Robinson, Kennedy: Single-lane closure between Neville Island Bridge interchange (Exit 65) and Crafton/ (Exit 60) weeknights from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. through Oct. 21.
