Bad weather brings good neighbor to fore

The day of the big snowstorm showed what a good neighbor I have.

I needed to leave early for work, and my usual snow remover had not arrived yet. (I am physically unable to shovel snow.) So, my car uselessly spun its wheels as I frantically attempted to escape my snow-inundated driveway.

My neighbor across the street, who I will call “S,” was shoveling his own driveway and, unsolicited, came over to help me.

He removed enough snow so my car could gain some traction and leave my driveway. He declined my offer of payment, saying, “This is what neighbors do.”

If not for “S,” I would not have been able to go to work that day. “S” in Scott, thank you. You are an awesome neighbor.

Employee solves pair of customer’s problems

I had been having trouble with my Wi-Fi, and Armstrong was able to send someone to my house to fix the problem.

It was on a Wednesday afternoon that a very nice young man, Chris, came to my house from Armstrong and took care of the problem.

The snow had begun, and the steps and sidewalk from my house were covered with quite a bit of snow. Chris picked up the snow shovel from my porch and proceeded to shovel the snow down to my driveway.

I am older, and I was so grateful for his help without being asked. What a nice gesture. Armstrong can be proud of its employee Chris.
