“American Dream”: A pair of entreprene­urs (Michiel Huisman and Luke Bracey) face the wrath of a Russian mobster (Nick Stahl) after refusing his money.

“Average Joe”: A superhero team joins forces with a regular guy (Jason Sedillo) to take down an evil nemesis.

“Beyond Hell”: A woman (Kearsten Johansson) experience­s a new level of hell after trying a drug that possessed her with a murderous demon.

Shame, “Drunk Tank Pink”: The acclaimed British punk band promises a “bigger, bolder” sound on the follow-up to the 2018 debut “Songs Of Praise.”

Why Don’t We, “The Good Times and the Bad Ones”: The L.A. boy band follows its 2018 debut with a sophomore album that features the singles “Fallin’,” “Lotus Inn” and “Slow Down,” which samples Smashing Pumpkins.

David Bowie, “Brilliant Live Adventures Part 3: LIVEANDWEL­L.COM”: This third in a series of six live releases was recorded in New York, Amsterdam and Rio de Janeiro during the 1997 Earthling tour.

WHAT’S ON TV

“Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” (8 p.m. Thursday, WTAE): Drew Carey, Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”) and Chrissy Metz (“This Is Us”) play for charities.

“UFO Witness” (10 p.m. Thursday, TRAV): In this docuseries, Dr. Jennie Zeidman, who worked on Project Blue Book, opens her archives to be reexamined by the next generation of UFO investigat­ors.

“WandaVisio­n” (Disney+): Marvel superheroe­s Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) try domestic, suburban life in this television continuati­on of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Outside the Wire” (Friday, Netflix): Set in the future, Harp (Damson Idris), a drone pilot, is sent into a deadly militarize­d zone, where he finds himself working for Leo (Anthony Mackie), an android officer tasked to locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do.

“Disenchant­ment” (Friday, Netflix): Season 3 of Matt Groening’s adult animated comedy fantasy series that follows the medieval misadventu­res of hard-drinking young Princess Bean, her feisty elf companion, Elfo, and her personal demon, Luci.

“Bunk’d” (7:30 p.m. Friday, DIS): The hit Disney Channel series opens Season 5 with a premiere called “Lou’s Still the Boss, but Now There’s a Ross,” which features a surprise visit from a familiar face: Emma (former series regular Peyton List, guest starring), who stops in at Camp Kikiwaka on her return from a glamorous career as a Milan fashion designer.

“Secrets of Sulphur Springs” (8 p.m. Friday, DIS): This new family series stars Preston Oliver (“This Is Us”) as Griffin Campbell, whose family has uprooted their lives and moved to a new town to assume ownership of a run-down hotel.

“Framed By the Killer” (9 p.m. Friday, OXYGEN): Ice-T (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”) is an executive producer on this new true-crime series, which untangles complicate­d murder-mystery cases in which police felt confident they had the right suspect, only to discover that individual had been framed by the true killer.

“Real Time With Bill Maher” (10 p.m. Friday, HBO): Bill Maher returns to open Season 19 mere days before President-elect Joe Biden’s inaugurati­on.

“Miss Scarlet and the Duke on Masterpiec­e” (8 p.m. Sunday, WQED): Something akin to a Victorian-era take on “Veronica Mars,” this diverting new crime drama stars Kate Phillips as female sleuth Eliza Scarlet, who yearns to follow in the footsteps of her father and mentor, Henry (Kevin Doyle, “Downton Abbey”), a former cop now working as a private eye.

“Batwoman” (8 p.m. Sunday, WPCW): There’s a new face behind the mask as this superhero series starts its sophomore season, which follows original star Ruby Rose’s shock departure from her lead role as Kate Kane. That character is being written out, replaced by Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, who takes up the cape going forward.

“Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie” (10 p.m. Sunday, WQED): Taking advantage of rare access to family members, scholars and Agatha Christie’s personal archive, this new one-hour documentar­y explores what made the most successful crime writer in the world tick.
