Gathering feedback when everyone is home working
Whether your company is clocking in from home or socially distancing at the office, it’s important to keep in touch with what employees think — what is going well and what can be improved.
And sometimes it takes more than a meeting — on Zoom or otherwise — to really get the feedback you need.
How do you take the temperature of the room?
Nominate your organization for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s 2021 Top Workplaces program.
Last year, Energage, the Post-Gazette’s research partner on this project for more than a decade, surveyed more than 130 organizations with a total of more than 25,000 employees for the Post-Gazette’s program.
The program is free. Any organization with 50 or more employees in the greater
Pittsburgh area is eligible. That includes public and private companies, nonprofits and government entities.
Polling will take place between January and April.
The process involves giving employees a short 24-question survey that they respond to anonymously.
Not all companies who participate will earn the designation as a Top Workplace but all of those that participate will receive results that can help them improve.
Those named as Top Workplaces will be featured in a special Post-Gazette editorial section and honored at an event later in the year.
The deadline to nominate a company is Feb. 12.
