“Chaos Walking”: In this dystopian sci-fi thriller, a woman mysterious­ly appears on a planet that is only populated by men, who are terrorized by “the Noise” that displays everyone’s thoughts. Directed by Doug Liman and starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley.

“Long Weekend”: Pittsburgh native Steve Basilone wrote, directed and stars in this romantic comedy about a quirky young woman who enters the life of a struggling writer at just the right moment.

“American Fighter”: A college wrestler enters the dangerous world of undergroun­d fighting to get the money needed to save his ailing mother. Stars George Kosturos, Tommy Flanagan and Sean Patrick Flanery.

“Happily”: In this dark rom-com, a happily married couple, played by Joel McHale and Kerry Bishe, discover their friends are jealous of their healthy relationsh­ip. The story takes a turn when a mysterious stranger arrives promising to correct the loving couple’s “defect.”

NEW MOVIES

“Cruella” (theaters, Disney+ Premier Access): Emma Stone stars as a young Cruella de Vil in Disney’s live-action origin story for the “101 Dalmatians” villain. Directed by Craig Gillespie and co-starring Emma Thompson, Mark Strong and Paul Walter Houser.

“A Quiet Place, Part II”: This horror sequel to 2018’s “A Quiet Place” follows the Abbott family as they continue their quest for survival in a world plagued by creatures that hunt by sound. John Krasinski once again directs and also co-stars with his wife, Emily Blunt.

NEW MUSIC FRIDAY

DMX, “Exodus”: Posthumous album from the gritty rap legend has an all-star lineup featuring Jay-Z, Nas, Bono, the Lox, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Usher and more.

Blackberry Smoke, “You Hear Georgia”:

The Southern rockers from Atlanta follow 2018’s “Find A Light” with this seventh album that features guest spots from Jamey Johnson, Warren Haynes and The Black Bettys.

k.d. Lang, “makeover”: In celebratio­n of Pride Month, Nonesuch Records releases this new collection of classic dance that remixes some of her best-loved songs.

Moby, “Reprise”: The electronic pioneer revisits and re-envisions musical highlights from his 30-year career with help from the Budapest Art Orchestra and a cast list that includes Gregory Porter, Jim James, Kris Kristoffer­son, Mark Lanegan and Mindy Jones.

WHAT’S ON TV

“The Wall” (8 p.m. Thursday, WPXI): This year’s edition of Comic Relief USA’s annual fundraiser campaign to end child poverty is anchored by a special edition of this hit game show hosted by Chris Hardwick, himself a longtime supporter of the campaign.

2021 iHeartRadi­o Music Awards (8 p.m. Thursday, WPGH): Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch lead the field of nominees, tied at seven nods apiece, as this year’s twohour ceremony airs live from Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Vying with the former for female artist of the year are Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift. Ricch’s competitio­n for best male artist includes Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Post Malone and The Weeknd.

“Blue Miracle” (Friday, Netflix): Dennis Quaid, Dana Wheeler-Nicholson and Raymond Cruz star in this true story of Casa Hogar, the Mexican boys home that entered the world’s biggest fishing tournament to save their orphanage.

“One Voice: The Songs We Share” (10 p.m. Friday, WQED): This new half-hour music series, which premieres with two back-to-back episodes, features the American Pops Orchestra celebratin­g uniquely American music, with a different host for each concert. In the opener, hosted by Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller (“Beautiful: The Carole King Story”), “Broadway” features classic musical theater showtunes, many of them recorded by Johnny Mathis, the superstar members of the Rat Pack and other stars of yesteryear. Immediatel­y following, Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child hosts “The Sacred,” songs written for church but introduced to a wider audience by Elvis Presley, among others. “Lavell Crawford: The Comedy Vaccine”

(10 p.m. Friday, SHO): Lavell Crawford, a former runner-up on “Last Comic Standing,” hopes to deliver a dose of high spirits during an hour of stand-up in a club where social-distancing protocols are carefully followed.

“Oslo” (8 p.m. Saturday, HBO): The subject matter -- how the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords happened through a series of largely backchanne­l talks between strong-willed personalit­ies -- may sound dry, but J.T. Sloan’s play swept most of the major theater awards during its 2016-17 New York run. Sloan adapted his own stage script for this new HBO adaptation starring Ruth Wilson (“The Affair,” “Luther”) and Andrew Scott.

2021 Indianapol­is 500 (12:45 p.m. Sunday, NBC): The 105th running of the Indianapol­is 500 commences at Indianapol­is Motor Speedway ... in a place actually called Speedway, Ind.

National Memorial Day Concert 2021 (8 p.m. Sunday, WQED): Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise again co-host this year’s edition of the annual musical salute to American heroes, a pre-taped 90-minute special instead of the traditiona­l live affair on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol due to the ongoing coronaviru­s pandemic. The program, which features a tribute to American nurses from the Vietnam War and a 20th anniversar­y remembranc­e of 9/11, boasts an all-star line-up of appearance­s by such singers as Gladys Knight, Vince Gill, Sara Bareilles, Alan Jackson, The Four Tops and country artist Mickey Guyton, who performs the National Anthem.

“Tulsa Burning: The 1921 Race Massacre” (8 p.m. Sunday, HIST): Executive produced by NBA star Russell Westbrook, this new two-hour documentar­y from award-winning filmmakers Stanley Nelson and Marco Williams commemorat­es the 100th anniversar­y of the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921.

“American Ninja Warrior” (8 p.m. Monday, WPXI): Hosts Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiami­la and Zuri Hall return to call the action as Season 13 premieres, with the competitio­n unfolding in Seattle, Los Angeles and Las Vegas for the finals.

“HouseBroke­n” (9 p.m. Monday, WPGH): This new animated comedy series follows several neighborho­od pets and stray animals as they try to process their personal issues both inside and out of their therapy group, which meets in the home of Honey (voice of Emmy winner Lisa Kudrow), a standard poodle who plays host and facilitato­r for their gatherings.
