Steelers training camp might not be at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe this summer, but it will still be open to the public at Heinz Field beginning July 28.

Tickets and entering

Admission to training camp practices is free, but a ticlet is required. Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.

You will need a mobile ticket to enter the stadium. Seats are assigned, which will be printed on your mobile ticket.

Fans can enter Heinz Field up to one hour before the scheduled start of practice by entering either at Gate B or the FedEx Great Hall Center gate on Art Rooney Avenue. There will be stadium parking, and specifics will be announced at a later date.

Bag policy

As for what you can bring into the stadium, the Steelers will continue to follow the Heinz Field clear bag policy. Clear branded bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” will be allowed in as well as small purses smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”. Gallon-sized plastic freezer bags also will be allowed into the stadium. Big bags such as backpacks and oversized tote bags are not permitted.

Concessions and team store

As for food, concession stands at the stadium will be open at Bud Light Pub 33. It will feature Franco’s Pizzeria in the FedEx Great Hall and Ford Fan Zone. Heinz Field is continuing its cashless policy but will accept credit and debit cards.

The team store will be open to the general public from 10 a.m. to noon on practice days. After that, it will be open to ticketed fans only from 12:30-6 p.m.

COVID-19 policy

When fans buy a ticket, they must agree to the NFL’s ticket terms and conditions, which includes a COVID-19 policy.

The first open practice will start at 1:30 p.m. July 28. It will be the team’s first practice with pads. The final open practice will be Aug.18.
