Television shows you’ll want to watch this week

“Jeopardy!” — Aaron Rodgers has had his shot. So has Ken Jennings, Mayim Bialik, Robin Roberts, Anderson Cooper and a number of other familiar faces. This week, the popular game show continues moving through a revolving door of guest hosts and it’s finally go time for LeVar Burton, who has actively campaigned to become Alex Trebek’s permanent replacemen­t. A groundswel­l of fan support helped Burton win one of the exclusive guest-hosting slots. Now, it’s up to him to prove he belongs. After Burton, the 37th season of “Jeopardy!” winds down with David Faber and Joe Buck taking turns at the podium. A decision on a permanent host is expected soon thereafter. (7 p.m. Monday, NBC).

Other bets

Sunday: The new culinary series “Money Hungry” puts taste buds to the test. Hosted by Kal Penn, it has talented chefs, restaurant critics, cookbook authors and accomplish­ed home cooks sampling various meals and being challenged to identify specific ingredient­s. The reward? $50,000. (10 p.m., Food Network).

Monday: As the alien drama “Roswell, New Mexico” returns for its third season, Liz is settling in to her new life and career in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Max, Isobel and Michael are figuring out if the stranger in the cave, with the familiar face, is friend or foe. (8 p.m., The CW).

Tuesday: “Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase the Blues Away” is a powerful new “American Masters” documentar­y that delves into the life and career of the legendary guitarist who has influenced many of today’s standout musicians. The film features never-before-seen performanc­es by Guy, as well as interviews with Carlos Santana, Gary Clark Jr., Kingfish and others. (9 p.m., PBS).

Wednesday: “Turning the Tables With Robin Roberts” is an emotional and inspiratio­nal series in which the “Good Morning America” co-host leads intimate group conversati­ons with some of Hollywood’s groundbrea­king women. Guests include Debbie Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sheila E., Melissa Etheridge, Mickey Guyton, Billie Jean King, Tig Notaro and others. (Disney+).

Thursday: Hoop dreams are about to come true for a few extraordin­arily talented young men during the 2021 NBA Draft. Guards Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State) and Jalen Green (G League Ignite) are expected to top the board at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. (8 p.m., ESPN and ABC).

Friday: It’s fitting that “Back on the Record With Bob Costas” debuts during the Summer Games. In his new gig, the longtime host of NBC’s Olympics coverage chats with top athletes and engages in roundtable discussion­s that address some of the key sports issues of the day. (11 p.m., HBO).

Saturday: In the movie “Love, For Real,” a woman (Chloe Bridges) goes on a reality dating show for the wrong reason — to publicize her fashion line. But nothing goes as planned. Could she actually find true love? Scott Michael Foster and Corbin Bleu also star. (9 p.m., Hallmark).
