Many local businesses participat­ing in Restaurant Week are offering discounts and special menus. For an up-to-date list, go to Pittsburgh­Restaurant­Week.com. Here’s a taste of what these restaurant­s are bringing to the table:

Azorean Cafe pays tribute to Azorean and Portuguese cuisine. 4715 Liberty Ave., Bloomfield; 412586-4241.

Big Spring Spirits at Seven Fields is a distillery that offers a tasting room and cocktail lounge for customers. Outdoor seating available. 526 Northpoint­e Circle, Seven Fields; 724-591-5859.

Cadillac Ranch offers American cuisine amid classic car and rock ’n’ roll decor — plus a mechanical bull. The restaurant is offering a special lunch and dinner for two weeks during Restaurant Week. The $20.21 lunch’s first course is mixed salad or Texas chili, followed by its All the Way Burger, fried chicken cobb salad or beer batter fish & chips. For an additional $5, you can add a starter — garlic Parmesan flatbread, six boneless wings or six fried shrimp. Desserts ($ 5) are no bake

cheesecake or churro doughnuts. The $25.21 dinner features the same first-course options. The second course is BBQ salmon, Extreme Juicy Lucy or fried shrimp platter. Carmella’s Plates and Pints offers American cuisine and craft cocktails in a unique setting. 1908 E. Carson St., South Side; 412- 9181215.

Eddie V’s Prime Seafood offers fresh seafood and prime steaks. It is participat­ing in Restaurant Week for two weeks, and online reservatio­ns are available. 501 Grant St., Downtown; 412391-1714.

Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar presents farm-to-table New American food in an upscale, rustic atmosphere. For $37.21, customers get a salad ( blackberry- based with baby spinach or watermelon-based with arugula), the choice of three entrées (wild mushroom lasagna, pan-fried walleye or marinated Logan Family Farm pork loin) and a dessert, lemon strawberry sponge cake. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse features allyou-can-eat meat carved tableside Brazilian style. Its two-week $40.21 dinner special includes the market table and feijoada bar with fresh salads and seasonal soup. Diners choose from 10 fire-roasted meats and Brazilian side dishes Warm pão de queijo (cheese bread), crispy uca, mashed potatoes and caramelize­d bananas. Starters, the main course and side dishes are continuous­ly served throughout the meal. Desserts include New York cheesecake, chocolate brigadeiro and Key lime pie. McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood features American seafood. For the $38.21 dinner, diners can choose from each category of the menu. Starters are field greens salad, New England clam chowder, salmon cake or calamari fritto misto. Entree choices are blackened mahi mahi, crab and shrimp- stuffed salmon, bourbon BBQ glazed pork chop or blackened chicken linguine. For dessert, New York Style cheesecake or vanilla bean crème brulee. It is participat­ing full two weeks. Outdoor seating and online reservatio­ns available. Melting Pot offers heated pots of cheese and chocolate for dipping, and pots of flavored broth for cooking. For $40.21, diners start with a choice of salads — Melting Pot House, Caesar or California. Entrées are herbcruste­d chicken, teriyakima­rinated sirloin, filet mignon, Memphis-style BBQ pork medallion, sweet & spicy glazed shrimp and wild mushroom sacchetti with seasonal vegetables and dipping sauces. To cook the entrée with the tabletop grill, diners choose broths — coq au vin (Burgundy wine with mushrooms, scallions and garlic), mojo (Caribbean-inspired with garlic, cilantro and citrus) or seasoned court bouillon. For dessert, choose a chocolate fondue with fresh strawberri­es, blondies, bananas, pineapple, marshmallo­w treats, pound cake or brownies for dipping. Morton’s The Steakhouse features traditiona­l steakhouse cuisine, including aged prime beef and seafood. For $ 45.21, dinner guests are served a starter — baked five onion soup, Nueske’s bacon steak, Caesar salad, prosciutto­wrapped mozzarella or Morton’s wedge salad; choice of entrees — 6-ounce center-cut filet mignon, 16-ounce double-cut prime pork chop, honey- balsamic glazed salmon, chicken Christophe­r or shrimp scampi capellini; sides are garlic mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, matchstick french fries or creamed spinach) and a dessert — double chocolate mousse, cheesecake with sea salt caramel or Key lime pie. Senti Restaurant offers fresh takes on Italian cuisine and a wine bar with an automatic dispenser in an art-filled setting. The G. O. A. T. Sports Bar offers classic American dishes, local craft beers and cocktails.
