Health

Allegheny Health Network named Anthony P. Mannarino chair of the AHN Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Institute, effective Nov. 1.

Manufactur­ing

Koppers Holdings Inc. said Michael J. Zugay, chief financial officer, will retire Dec. 31. The board appointed Jimmi Sue Smith, its current vice president, finance and treasurer, to assume the role of chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

Mark Hutchinson was named vice president of network engineerin­g, and Virgil King was named vice president of field operations for Comcast’s Keystone Region, which comprises western, central and northeaste­rn Pennsylvan­ia, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and the Maryland panhandle.

The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh elected Michael Polite, executive vice president of Beacon Communitie­s LLC, as chair of its board.

PPG said employees Rachel Harris and Kristin Nuzzio received 2021 STEP Ahead Awards from the Manufactur­ing Institute for their exemplary leadership and industry achievemen­ts. The Manufactur­ing Institute, which is the education and workforce partner of the National Associatio­n of Manufactur­ers, created the awards to recognize the accomplish­ments of outstandin­g female leadership in manufactur­ing.

Groundwork­s completed its 20th acquisitio­n with the addition of Central Pennsylvan­ia-based I’m the Guy Basements. As part of the acquisitio­n, I’m the Guy Basements will merge with Pittsburgh-based Baker’s Waterproof­ing, a Groundwork­s company acquired earlier this year. The two Pennsylvan­ia companies will now be united under one brand, Baker’s Waterproof­ing, and form the largest foundation services and waterproof­ing company in Pennsylvan­ia.
