CMA Summer Jam: (8 p.m. Thursday, WTAE): More than 20 of the biggest stars in country music perform against the dramatic skyline of Nashville, Tenn., in this new threehour special, which was filmed throughout July at the city’s Ascend Amphitheat­er. Among the artists scheduled to perform, both individual­ly and in collaborat­ion, from that open-air stage are Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson and Dwight Yoakam. Additional­ly, Darius Rucker will take the outdoor stage at Nashville’s brand-new Fifth & Broadway downtown complex.

“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” (8 p.m. Thursday, BRAVO): Fredrik Eklund from the spinoff “Million Dollar Listing New York” becomes a full-time part of this sister show as it returns for Season 13.

“The Father” (9 p.m. Thursday, STARZ): Anthony Hopkins became the oldest Best Actor Academy Award winner in history for his searing performanc­e in Florian Zeller’s 2020 screen adaptation of Zeller’s 2012 French play, about an elderly man battling encroachin­g dementia.

“What We Do in the Shadows” (10 p.m. Thursday, FX): As the Emmy-nominated horror comedy returns for Season 3 with two new back-to-back episodes, the vampire household is in a tizzy now that the resident bloodsucke­rs have discovered their put-upon human minion Guillermo (Harvey Guillen) is a vampire hunter.

“Money Heist” (Friday, Netflix): Season 5 of the Spanish heist crime drama will be released in two volumes, on Sept. 3 and Dec. 3.

“Bitchin’: The Sound and Fury of Rick James” (9 p.m. Friday, SHO): Filmmaker Sacha Jenkins examines the brain beneath the braids of an icon of funk and R&B music in this new music documentar­y, which charts the peaks and valleys in the career of a complicate­d and often rebellious artist.

“The Mauritania­n” (8 p.m. Saturday, SHO): Based on a true story, Kevin Macdonald’s 2021 legal drama chronicles the story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi (Tahar Rahim), who was held for 14 years (2002-16) without charge in the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. Jodie Foster co-stars as the American lawyer who investigat­es the case.

“Meerkat Manor: Rise of the Dynasty” (9 p.m. Saturday, BBC): The acclaimed wildlife docuseries returns to complete its current season, starting with the midseason premiere “Hard Times,” which finds Flint expecting the arrival of her third litter, after the heartbreak­ing loss of her first two.

“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (8 p.m. Sunday, WPCW): When Sara (Caity Lotz) realizes what Bishop’s (guest star Raffi Barsoumian) plan really is, Ava (Jes Macallan) urges her to let the Legends make a rare exception to their rules and help fight back in the Season 6 finale, “The Fungus Amongus.”

“Billions” (9 p.m. Sunday, SHO): As the critically acclaimed drama returns to finish the second half of Season 5, Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) spies a potential new weapon in his fight against Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) as the presence of charismati­c billionair­e Mike Prince (Corey Stoll) sends ripples through Axe Capital. Soon, everyone from Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon) to Wendy (Maggie Siff) is roped into the escalating conflict which could wind up costing all of them dearly. David Costabile, Condola Rashad and Jeffrey DeMunn also star.
