Lowly Magic stuns Hornets to end streak

-

Moritz Wagner scored a season- high 26 points, younger brother Franz added 19 points and seven assists, and the visiting Orlando Magic beat the Charlotte Hornets, 116-109, Friday night to snap a 10-game losing streak.

Gary Harris added 18 points for the Magic, who had not won since before Christmas.

Orlando trailed by three entering the fourth quarter, but took advantage of a coldshooting Hornets team to open a 13-point lead with 2 minutes left, punctuated by Moritz Wagner’s dunk off a feed from Cole Anthony.

“It feels good for these guys to be able to celebrate all of the work that we have put in,” said Magic coach Jamahl Mosley. “... They have done a great job of just staying the course and continuing to compete for one another.”
