Lying works

-

When it comes to our elections, it doesn’t matter if a politician fails to keep his promises! He only has to make them. His loyal and mentally challenged voters won’t remember the lies. This is why the Teflon ex-president remains a viable candidate to recapture the presidency.

To his constituents, the fact that the ex-president did not deliver on his promised Utopia was not the ex-president’s fault. We can blame it on the Democrats! The ex-president’s lies, and his followers lying to themselves, are a perfect match for the upcoming 2022 congressional elections.

The last word is that democracy can only survive with an educated electorate that wants to hear the truth. We are not yet there, and the tendency toward computer screen education won’t get us there.

The one-room school house had some serious limitations, but social understanding wasn’t one of them. The ongoing social interaction of the students led to graduates who could read the body language of a liar, and the ex-president would not have gotten the nomination, let alone elected to the Oval Office. The need for social education is extreme, but it won’t happen on the computer screen.

The ex-president’s appointments of political sycophants, like the secretary of education who had never been in a public school, is indicative of how well he understood what was presented above. The minority party already has its court jesters waiting for the coronation of their authoritarian monarch! The jesters were ready when they graduated with honors from “Lie” school.
