RUNNING

Greenfield Glide 5K Run Fitness Walk: Schenley Park Overlook (8:30 a.m. June 5); greenfield­glide.com.

Brookline Breeze 5K Run/Walk: 5K run and fitness walk and 1-mile fun run. Brookline Boulevard at Pioneer Avenue (8:35 a.m. Aug. 13); brooklineb­reeze.com.

Historic Hill 5K Run/Fitness Walk: Hill District (8:15 a.m. Aug. 27); historichi­ll5k.com.

Run Around the Square: 1.5-mile fun run/walk and 5K run through Fern Hollow, Frick Park; includes musicians. Regent Square School (8:15 a.m. Aug. 27); runaroundt­hesquare.com.

Dollar Bank Junior Great Race: Includes the 1-Mile Family Fun Run, the 50Yard Tot Trot and the Diaper Dash. Downtown ( 11 a. m. Sept. 24); RunGreatRa­ce.com.

Richard S. Caliguiri Great Race: 10K race begins in Frick Park at Beechwood Boulevard and finishes outside Point State Park, Downtown. The 5K starts at Fifth and Atwood in Oakland (8 a.m. Sept. 25); RunGreatRa­ce.com.

BIKING

Pedal Pittsburgh: Bike Pittsburgh presents this ride that ranges from 10 to 62 miles (Aug. 28); bikepgh.org.

SWIMMING POOLS

Citiparks will operate its 18 outdoor swimming pools from June 12 to Labor Day.

SPRAY PARKS

Arlington (Arlington Playground, Fernleaf Street); Beechview (Vanucci Playground, Orangewood Street); Burgwin (Burgwin Playground, Mansion Street); East Hills (East Hills Park, Wilner Drive); Paulson (Paulson Playground, 1300 Paulson Ave.); Shadyside (Mellon Park, Fifth Avenue); Troy Hill (Cowley Playground, Goettman Street).

ROVING ART CART

Citiparks Roving Art cart brings an Arts in the Parks experience to regional and neighborho­od parks every Tuesday through Friday. Schedule at pittsburgh­pa.gov/citiparks.

SUMMER SOUL LINE DANCING

Presented by the city of Pittsburgh, instructor Roland Ford incorporat­es R&B music in free classes that begin with basic steps and finish with more advanced moves.
