Braves’ streak reaches 13 wins
Hit five homers against Nationals
Michael Harris II and Travis d’Arnaud each had three hits and homered for the second consecutive game, and the visiting Atlanta Braves went deep five times for their 13th win in a row, beating the Washington Nationals, 10-4, on Tuesday night.
Atlanta hit back-to-back homers for the third game in a row, this time doing it twice. D’Arnaud and Marcell Ozuna went deep in the third inning, and Orlando Arcia and Harris II followed in the sixth.

Chris Bassitt pitched eight sharp innings of three-hit ball and Pete Alonso drove in two runs for host New York. Bassitt (5-4), who entered with a 7.62 ERA in his past five starts, allowed just three singles and one walk with seven strikeouts.
Marlins 11, Phillies 9:
Avisail Garcia, Jesus Aguilar, Jacob Stallings and Jazz Chisholm Jr. all had home runs for visiting Miami.
Yankees 2, Rays 0:
Gerrit Cole put a careerworst pummeling behind him with six sharp innings, and New York capitalized on shaky defense by visiting Tampa Bay. The AL East-leading Yankees won their fifth in a row as they played the first of six games in nine days against the Rays.
Red Sox 6, Athletics 1:
Rafael Devers hit a threerun homer and Nick Pivetta pitched eight strong innings for host Boston. JD Martinez also homered for the Red Sox.
Orioles 6, Blue Jays 5:
Ryan Mountcastle hit a two- run home run and Austin Hays had a solo shot for visiting Baltimore. Mountcastle went 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and scored twice.
White Sox 5, Tigers 1:
Dylan Cease allowed one run in five innings to remain unbeaten in 10 decisions for visiting Chicago. Cease (5-3) allowed one unearned run on seven hits and a walk.
Astros 4, Rangers 3:
Kyle Tucker extended his career-best hitting streak to 13 games with a goahead homer in the eighth inning for AL West-leading Houston against host Texas.
Notes
Houston right- hander Hector Neris began serving a reduced three-game suspension Tuesday, a week after his ejection from a game in which he plunked one Seattle batter and nearly hit another in the head. Neris was initially suspended four games. ... Toronto left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (2-0, 5.67 ERA) will miss the rest of the season because of ligament damage in his elbow.
