Thomas Jefferson’s Siemon shuts out Chartiers Valley
Thomas Jefferson has only played five games against WPIAL teams this season. But if that early sample is any indication, the Jaguars will be a handful as the year progresses.
Senior starter J.J. Siemon gave Chartiers Valley hitters fits as he twirled a masterful one-hitter while striking out nine to lead Class 4A No. 4 Thomas Jefferson (8-0, 2-0) to a 1-0 victory against Chartiers Valley (2-1, 0-1) in a Section 3 game.
Thomas Jefferson has outscored its five WPIAL opponents, 47-5. The Jaguars 9.5 average runs per game is the best in the top three classifications.
