The first round is over in both the NHL and the NBA. With apologies to the Boomerbelo­ved “Young Sheldon” series finale, the best smallscree­n drama this week will take place on the ice and the hardwood.

The NBA’s Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers do battle on Monday, Wednesday (TNT) and Friday (ESPN), while the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers square off Sunday (ABC), Tuesday (TNT) and Friday (ESPN). In the west, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks clash on Monday, Wednesday (TNT) and Saturday (ESPN), while the Minnesota Timberwolv­es and Denver Nuggets trade blows on Sunday, Tuesday (TNT) and Thursday (ESPN).

On the ice, it’s the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins on Sunday (TBS), Tuesday and Friday (TBD) with the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes duking it out on Monday Thursday and Saturday (TBD). Out west, the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche collide on Monday (ESPN), Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (TBD) followed by the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks’ battle to represent Canada on Sunday (TBS), Tuesday (ESPN), Thursday and Saturday (TBD).

Cubs vs. Pirates: Chicago and Pittsburgh bring their three-game series to a close at PNC Park. 1:35 p.m. (SportsNet Pittsburgh)

“TIME100: The World’s Most Inuential People”: Footage from this annual gala, celebratin­g TIME’s list of 100 most influentia­l people, airs live. Taraji P. Henson hosts the night, while the stage will see performanc­es from Dua Lipa and Fantasia Barrino. Elliot Page and Dev Patel will both be honored. 10 p.m. (ABC)

Monday

Pirates vs. Brewers: The Pirates begin a three-game series on the road in Milwaukee. 7:40 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 1:10 p.m. Wednesday. (SportsNet Pittsburgh). Games follow on 7:40 Tuesday.

“Photograph­ic Justice: The Corky Lee Story”: Famed Chinese American photograph­er Corky Lee has an archive of about 1 million photos, spanning his career as an activist and chronicler of life in the Asian American community. 10 p.m. (PBS)

Tuesday

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: 10th Anniversar­y Special”: From “Saturday Night Live” to “Late Night” to “The Tonight Show,” Jimmy Fallon has dazzled for the last decade with his signature brand of humor and an unforgetta­ble laugh. 9 p.m. (NBC)

“The Express Way With Dulé Hill”: In this season finale, Dulé Hill visits Chicago to explore the life-changing power of the arts. There, he participat­es in a casting session at the Andre Theatre Collective before speaking with the director of Red Clay Dance Company. 9 p.m. (PBS) Wednesday “The Amazing Race”: After what has felt like a million miles and a number of overhead bin issues, it’s the final leg for the remaining racers. From Argentina to Uruguay, Chile to Colombia, the teams have worked hard to keep pace, hoping for $1 million. 9:30 p.m. (CBS)

“Pompeii: The New Dig”: It was a fateful day in 79 A.D. when Mount Vesuvius erupted, covering the Italian city of Pompeii in volcanic ash. This series premiere follows as an entire city block is excavated by experts, revealing stunning frescos, artworks, bodies and pizza. 10 p.m. (PBS) Thursday

Pirates vs. Cubs: The Pirates meet Chicago again, this time on the road in a four-game series. 7:40 p.m. Thursday and 2:20 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (SportsNet Pittsburgh)

Friday

“S.W.A.T.”: Hondo (Shemar Moore), Deacon (Jay Harrington), Victor (David Lim) and the team face their deadliest adversary yet when a cell of extremists look to make a mark by blowing up half of Los Angeles, potentiall­y killing tens of thousands in this season finale. 8 p.m. (CBS)

“Mary & George”: George (Nicholas Galitzine) attempts to calm the tensions between England and Spain by traveling to Spain with Prince Charles (Samuel Blenkin) in an effort to avoid war. Meanwhile, Mary (Julianne Moore) works to secure absolute power in this series finale. 9 p.m. (Starz)

Saturday

“Dream Big: The Michelle Wie Story”: At 13, Michelle Wie was the youngest player to make an LPGA Tour cut and the youngest to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open. By 16, she was a profession­al with sponsorshi­p deals from Nike and Sony. This new documentar­y looks at her trailblazi­ng career. 2 p.m. (NBC)

149th Preakness Stakes: You may not know how to box a quinella, but thoroughbr­ed racing’s best horses head to Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore for the 149th running of the Preakness Stakes. The second leg of the Triple Crown hopes to field Fierceness, Sierra Leone and others. 4:30 p.m. (NBC)
