Stone Canoe

Prizes of $500 each are given annually for works of poetry and creative nonfiction by writers who are current or past residents of upstate New York. Writers who have not published a book with a nationally distributed press are eligible. The editors will judge. Submit up to five poems of any length by July 8 or an essay of up to 8,000 words by July 22. There is no entry fee. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
