Dogwood

Laura Read of Spokane won the 2017 Dogwood Literary Prize for her poem “Margaret Corinne, Dunseith, North Dakota, 1932.” She received $1,000 and publication in the 2017 issue of Dogwood. Sarah Einstein, Michele Glazer, and Karen Osborn judged. The annual award is given for a poem, a short story, or an essay; beginning in 2018, three awards of $1,000 each will be given for a poem, a short story, and an essay.
