Vermont Studio Center
The Vermont Studio Center offers 2- to 12-week residencies year-round to poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators in Johnson, Vermont, a village in the northern Green Mountains. The center provides residents with a private room, studio space, and meals, and also offers craft talks, readings, and manuscript consultations with visiting writers. Tuition, which includes lodging and meals, is $2,200 for two weeks or $4,250 for one month. Financial aid is available. Using only the online application system, submit up to 10 pages of poetry or up to 15 pages of prose or translation (including the original text), a curriculum vitae, and contact information for two references with a $25 application fee.
