One dead, two wounded in shooting Thursday

Tulare police were investigating a shooting just after 10 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 1600 block of West Santa Barbara Street in Tulare.

When officers arrived they located one adult male lying on an adjacent driveway with life-threatening injuries. Inside the residence officers located two additional adult males, one suffering from a head trauma and the other with a gunshot wound. Medical aid was administered at the scene and all three victims were subsequently transported by ambulance to local area hospitals. One adult male did not survive the injuries he sustained during the confrontation.
