Monday, June 19, 2017 Burglary / Vandalism

Officers responded at 6:56 a.m. to Portervill­e High School regarding a vandalism. It was discovered that someone had entered the gymnasium unlawfully and once inside, discharged fire extinguish­ers.

DUI

Officers responded at 6:26 p.m. to Waterdrops Car Wash, 1085 W. Henderson, regarding a possible DUI driver who had pulled in after driving recklessly and making threatenin­g hand gestures to other motorist. Freddie Zuniga, 46, was contacted and determined to be very intoxicate­d. He was booked at the TCSO Substation.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

Officers responded at 11 p.m. to the 600 block of West Putnam Avenue regarding a stolen motor vehicle, occurring within the last few minutes. The victim said she left the vehicle running when she went inside briefly to get something. The vehicle, a 2004 white Nissan Altima was gone when the victim went back outside. About 10 minutes after the report, Tulare County fire responded to a vehicle fire involving a Nissan Altima in the St. Annes Cemetery on Gibbons. The vehicle was fully engulfed inside the cemetery upon their arrival and was later confirmed to be the stolen vehicle in this case.
