The American Legion Post 20 and Legion Riders Chapter 20 meets every first and third Wednesday of the month at the Veteran’s Memorial Building at 1900 W. Olive Avenue. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and the Legion Riders meeting begins at 6 p.m. followed by the American Legion Post meeting at 7 p.m. The third Wednesday features a potluck dinner. Congressman Kevin Mccarthy has announced a monthly staff mobile office in Springville on Wednesday, June 21. The mobile office will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at Springville’s Veterans Memorial Building, 35944 Highway 190. A staff member from Mccarthy’s office hosts each mobile office held throughout California’s 23rd Congressional District. This time provides an opportunity for constituents in the local community to conveniently visit and share concerns on important issues, current events and discuss casework matters regarding problems with federal government agencies. Pink Heals Tulare County Chapter will be having an Eagle Mountain Casino Bus Trip on Wednesday, June 21. The bus will leave Giovanni’s Pizzeria at 5:30 p.m. and will return at approximately 10:30 p.m. The cost is $20 and will include the $25 EMC bonus bucks, $8 food court voucher, and entry into a special slot tournament just for the PHTCC Bus Trip with a chance to win $100, $75 or $50.
