Monday, June 26, 2017 Commercial Burglary

Officers responded at 9:48 a.m. to Portervill­e College regarding a reported burglary. The suspect(s) gained access into a classroom sometime during the night and stole a computer, monitor, and bag of tools.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

A blue 1997 Honda Accord was reported at 8:31 a.m. stolen from the 400 block of West Melinda Avenue.

Injury Traffic Collision

A 7-year-old bicyclist was riding his bicycle at approximat­ely 8:23 p.m. on the wrong side of the road northbound on Murry Street from Putnam Avenue. He collided with a vehicle that was turning into a driveway on Murry Street. There was minor damage to the vehicle and the child suffered abrasions and bruising. He was transporte­d to SVMC by ambulance and was admitted overnight for observatio­n.
