Congregational Church sermon set
The Rev. Kevin Roach will deliver his newest sermon “True Service” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church.
Roach drew inspiration for the sermon from Matthew 25:31-46.
Children will be excused for Sunday school at 11 a.m.
Coffee Hour will be held after church.
There will be Bible study at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3. The topic is “Hebrews Chapter 11. There will be no Bible studies on Sundays during the summer.
Women’s Fellowship will meet at Don Vino’s Italian Bar and Grill at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3 for lunch.
The historic church is located at Fourth Street and Mill Avenue.

Lowe and his wife have been members of Porterville First Assembly of God and Lowe has served, on occasion, as a guest pastor at that church as well as having spoken at other churches throughout the Porterville area.
Lowe and his wife have also been very active in church ministry as well as foreign and domestic mission outreaches for many years. They have five children and four grandchildren. They have recently relocated to Springville.
Pleasant Valley Chapel invites the community to meet Lowe and his wife.
Pleasant Valley is a non-denominational church and is located at 33350 Globe Dr. in Springville. Everyone is welcome to attend the church’s Sunday service, which runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and are encouraged to come as they are.
