Burglary
Officers responded at 10:15 a.m. to a residence in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue for a report of a burglary. The vacant residence is currently being renovated and unknown suspect(s) forced entry and stole tools.
Burglary
Officers responded at 7:13 a.m. to the 100 block of South Main Street regarding a commercial burglary report. The suspects forced entry into the business and stole 26 vehicle batteries and broke a vehicle window. One week prior the same type of incident occurred with tires being stolen, but was unreported.
Burglary
Officers responded at 7:39 a.m. to a residence in the 900 block of West Lybarger Avenue for a reported burglary. The suspect(s) stole a purse, workbag and tools from the residence the victim is in the process of moving out of. Entry was gained through an unlocked window.
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 Warrant Arrest
Victoria Garza, 30, was arrested at 1:39 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Mc Comb Avenue.

Carlos Zavala, 47, was arrested at 9:16 a.m. on Thurman and E Street.
Burglary
At 9:10 a.m. a laptop and a gaming console were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of West Union Avenue.

Tara Strawn, 40, was arrested at 12:16 p.m. in the 900 block of West Morton Avenue.

Frisco Ortega, 26, was arrested at 2:04 p.m. in the area of Villa Street and Olive Avenue.

Jerry Romero, 33, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Henderson Avenue.
