Deli Delicious comes to Porterville
Eatery to open at 12 S. main St.
Deli Delicious franchisee Azzi Chahal is opening his first restaurant in Porterville at 12 S. Main St., corner of Main and Olive Avenue. Chahal is looking forward to contributing to Porterville’s growing economy, and believes the city has a bright future. They have not announced an opening date as of publication.
This is the first Deli Delicious franchise restaurant in Porterville and this model features the restaurant chain’s newest décor package. Guests will get to experience the updated interior look, plus more comfortable seating options and their new griddle. Customers will be able to watch hot sandwiches being prepared right before their eyes.
Providing quality food and guest service remains the number one priority at Deli Delicious. In addition to premium cold cuts, fresh produce, and their signature breads, Deli Delicious makes their own grilled chicken breast and barbecued tri-tip. The chicken breast and tri-tip are marinated with a proprietary blend of spices and charbroiled at every restaurant.
The restaurant owner is a proud graduate of Fresno State, where he received his master’s in Business Administration. He is happy to be opening his first business in Porterville which is where his family resides. Although this is his first restaurant, the owner is a multi-unit franchisee of the Deli Delicious brand and plans to open additional restaurants.
Chahal is delighted to bring healthier dining options to Porterville and looks forward to working with the community and growing with the city. He is specifically interested in supporting education and is open to learning more about programs that will support Porterville’s students and schools.
Deli Delicious is ranked a Top 40 Food Franchise by Franchise Business Review and has been voted the Central Valley’s People’s Choice for Best Sandwich Shop consecutively from 2009-2017. Their dedication to fresh, hearty and wholesome food began in Fresno in the early 1990s when the family took over a little restaurant called Deli Delicious. After a few years, one restaurant wasn’t enough to meet popular demand so they opened a second location, and then a third, and the rest is history.
