First United Ser­mon topic an­nounced

Pas­tor James Woffinden will con­tinue his re­flec­tion series “For­give­ness as A Way of Life Part 2” at 11 a.m. Sun­day at the First United Methodist Church.

Woffinden drew in­spi­ra­tion for the ser­mon from Matthew 18:21-35.

Chil­dren will be ex­cused to ei­ther the nursery or their church school classes fol­low­ing the spe­cial mu­sic pre­sen­ta­tion.

Cof­fee Hour will fol­low the ser­vice and all are wel­come.

This Sun­day the First United Methodist Church will also be cel­e­brat­ing World Com­mu­nion Sun­day.

The church will hold the fol­low­ing events:

Wed­nes­day night Bi­ble study group will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Joe and Ta­mara Mitchell.

church will hold a cloth­ing closet from 3 to 4 p.m. on Satur­day, Oct. 7.

church coun­cil MAC meet­ing will start at 7 p.m. on Tues­day, Oct. 17.
