Judy Ann Weisenberger Kuechel
Judy Ann Weisenberger Kuechel, AKA, Ma Kuech, passed away suddenly in Porterville on Sunday, November 12, at 2:45 AM. She was full of vim and vigor right to the end.
She was born October 13, 1943 in Porterville, California to Malcolm and Mildred Weisenberger. She is survived by her only child, Shawn Kuechel (Kelly); brother, Marvin Eldon Weisenberger; sister, Jane Weisenberger Chrisco (Tom); nieces, Trudy Weisenberger Colbert (Justin) and Jocelyn Chrisco; nephews, Todd Weisenberger and Jarid Chrisco; granddaughter, Dakota Kuechel; great niece, Brittani Holden (Jessie); great-great niece, Cayden Holden; greatgreat nephews, Cole Hearne, Ricky Holden, Tommy Chrisco and Elijah Unser.
Judy was a life-long resident of Porterville (Mayor of Maston) attended Belleview, Bartlett, Porterville High School.
She loved nature, all animals, plants, anything western, horses and crafts. She was active in Canterbell’s riding and later drill master. She traveled the state with her parents hauling horses from rodeo to rodeo.
She was involved with the Emblem Club and Garden Club. She loved Nascar and midget racing.
A viewing will be held at Myers Chapel on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
