TCAOR swears in 2018 officers and directors
Swear-in event part of annual installation and holiday luncheon
The Tulare County Association of Realtors swore in their 2018 officers and directors at the Visalia Convention Center during their Annual Installation and Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Master of Ceremonies, Carlos Aleman, introduced President Ruben Olguin, President-elect Brian Gilbert, Secretary Treasurer Connie Kautz, as well as directors Mike Allen, Ed Evans, Janey Jones, Andrea Santos, Jose Jimenez, Scott Ellis, Clay Smith, Rick Williams and Mike Gutierrez as the incoming 2018 officers and directors.
Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux, Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward, Visalia City Council Member Steve Nelsen, Sen. Andy Vidak and many other local dignitaries were in attendance to offer their congratulations to the incoming officers and directors. Aleman administered the Oath of Office during the swearing-in ceremony.
The 2017 President, Ed Morton, officially passed the gavel to incoming 2018 President Olguin. Morton presented three Presidential Awards to Clay Smith of Craig Smith & Associates, Connie Kautz of The Bloom Group and Mark Avedian of Avedian Properties).
Lisa Riggins of Kings Mortgage Services, Inc. presented this year’s Affiliate of The Year Award to Diana Stuhaan of Country Club Mortgage. Smith of Craig Smith & Associates presented this year’s Realtor of the Year to Morton of Avedian Properties).
Special performances in honor of incoming President Olguin included Aleman, Diana Jasso, Raquel Dixon, Sam Aleman, Jordan Mulrooney, Steve Pitts, Cathy White and Vincent Ingrao.
A special thank you to the Installation Planning Committee: Rick Perez (Chair), Aleman, Dixon, Olga Duran, Mimi Ruby, Cathy Pires, Pitts, Mulrooney, Nathalie Kagy, Marlene Coelho, Kelly Brooks, Jasso, Robert Menchaca, Chris Jolly, Teresa Ojeda and Marina Rojas.
TCAOR members filled the hallway of the Visalia Convention Center with hundreds of new unwrapped toys and blankets, as well as monetary gifts, were contributed by the members in attendance and were donated to CASA of Tulare County for the fourth consecutive year.
