Other Matters Before Lindsay Council
Will receive a report from Lindsay High School Student Denise Macias.
Will receive information regarding the disposal of surplus equipment (fully depreciated, beyond useful life). The equipment in question include a 1994 Freightliner Fire Truck and a 1998 DUI Checkpoint Trailer.
Will consider issuing a temporary use permit to Johnny Estrada of the Orange Bar for an alley closure for a portion of the alley located south of Honolulu Street between 10 a.m. on Feb. 4 and 2 a.m. on Feb. 5 in support of a Super Bowl viewing event.
Will continue the public hearing regarding Resolution 18-01: California Environmental Quality Act documents for proposed Hermosa Street Intersection Improvement Project (Roundabout).
Will consider authorizing the city manager to execute purchase order for a new fire truck.
Will receive information regarding a review of the city's financial position at the year's mid-point, and a review of revenues and expenditures and performance against budget.
Will consider giving a second reading of Ordinance 562, which is the amending of a municipal code pertaining to accessory and garden structure height limits.
Will consider approving Resolution 18-06, which is support of Senate Bill 623 (Monning), the Affordable Drinking Water Fund. Approving the resolution would support short and long-term drinking water solutions and programs.
The council meeting starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lindsay's City Hall.
