William L. Manning

William L. "Bill" Manning died on March 8, 2018 in Porterville, California. He was born August 30, 1926 in Michigan to his parents Raymond G. and Minnie Gill Manning. He is survived by his loving soul mate, his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and good friends. He was a Social Worker by trade and held graduate degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin. He was retired from California State service. He served five years in the United States Army, during and after World War Two, and during the Korean War. Interment will be in Visalia Cemetery and per his request there will not be a public service.
