The Porterville Police Department has released he identities of the three subjects involved in the fatal traffic collision at Plano Street and Olive Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

The Porterville Police Department has released he identities of the three subjects involved in the fatal traffic collision at Plano Street and Olive Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

They are identified as Alexia Gonzales, 23, of Lindsay, Jose Sanchez, 33, of Strathmore, and Ray Perez, 32, of Lindsay.

Gonzalez has been identified as the driver who died at the scene. Sanchez was identified as a passenger who was ejected from the vehicle upon impact and transported to Sierra View Medical Center where he later died.

Ray Perez has been identified as another passenger who fled from the collision scene, but was apprehended a short distance away. Perez was transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The collision is being investigated by the Porterville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team and the criminal investigation is being conducted by the Lindsay Police Department.
