The Porterville College baseball team saw its four-game win streak come to an end Tuesday against visiting Reedley, 10-1.

The Pirates (5-27, 4-9 Central Valley Conference) took an early 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of first but gave up the lead for good as the Tigers scored four runs in the top half of the second inning.
Reedley tacked on a run in the third and fifth innings and put the game well out of reach with four in the eighth frame.
Nicolas Portillo scored Andres Garza with a single in the first. Portillo went 2-for-4 at the plate as Porterville was limited to five hits.
Alex Sarmienta, Isaiah Gomez and Garza each had a hit for PC.
Daryn Dashner was tagged with the loss, allowing four runs on four hits in 1 1/3 innings of work. Andrew Vivanco came on and in six innings allowed four runs on six hits. Ricky Reyes finished the game, allowing two runs on two hits. PC pitcher walked six batters.
Reedley’s Brady Barcellos earned the win on the mound, allowing one run on five hits and three walks. He also struck out four.
The Tigers had 12 hits and were led by Kevin Page, who went 3-for5 with one RBI and a double, and Jackson Leach, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two doubles.
Porterville travels to Reedley for a 2 p.m. game on Thursday and concludes the series with a 1 p.m. game at home on Saturday.
