PUSD to offer free summer meal program

The Porterville Unified School District will be offering children from ages 1-18 the unique opportunity to receive meals at no cost through the Seamless Summer Food Service Program.

Any child can go to any one of the schools listed below and receive a meal.

All meals will be served from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Monday through Friday except where noted in times next to school. Check with the site’s Student Nutrition Services employee if and when breakfast will be available.

We encourage parents to have their children take advantage of this opportunity. All meals must be eaten on site and cannot be taken home.

The designated schools will be as follows:

Belleview Elementary June 11 to Aug. 2.

John J. Doyle Elementary — June 11 to Aug. 2.

Olive Street Elementary — June 11 to Aug. 2.

West Putnam Elementary — June 11 to Aug. 2.

Santa Fe Elementary (12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) — June 11 to Aug. 2.

Carl J. Smith Middle (23825 Avenue 92, Terra Bella) — June 18 to Aug. 2.

Porterville High School (12:15 p.m. to 12:35 p.m.) — June 14 to July 12.

Woodville Labor Camp (9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.) — June 11 to Aug. 2.

Parkview Apartments — June 11 to Aug. 2.

Porterville College (11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) — June 11 to June 14.

Monte Vista Elementary first session (11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) — June 11 to July 6.

Monte Vista Elementary second session (11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) — July 23 to Aug. 2.

Roche Avenue Elementary — July 23 to Aug. 2.

Vandalia Elementary, first session — June 11 to July 6.
