PUSD to host free YES summer program for students K-6
The Porterville Unified School District YES Program is hosting a free summer program from Monday, July 23 through Thursday, August 2 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The two-week summer program will feature STEAM labs, art projects, and clubs. There will be free breakfast and lunch provided for students.
The program will conclude with a day trip to Mcdermont Field House in Lindsay, where students will receive a $5 arcade card and be able to participate in many activities.
The Summer YES Program is open only to PUSD students who will be in grades K-6 for the 2018-19 school year. The program will be held at the student's home school with the exception of Los Robles Elementary.
Due to construction, Los Robles students will be able to participate in the program at Roche Avenue Elementary. No transportation will be provided for this special program.
