Mary Louise "Tina" Changala

Mary Louise "Tina" Chanqala passed away in Visalia, CA on August 3, 2018 at the age of 79. Just 5 days ahead of her 80th birthday on August 8, 1938.

Tina was born in La Puente, CA and attended school there to grade 12 at La Puente High School. Tina married her sweetheart, Si Changala of EI Toro, CA in 1959. They were married on January 24th in Las Vegas NV before a large gathering of friends and family. Their marriage of 59 years was filled with love, affection and is a model to their family.

The young couple moved to EI Toro in 1959 where they started their family and where Tina supported the new farming venture by managing all of the bookkeeping and payroll.

Tina and her boundless energy were always a fixture at any family gathering. She loved to play cards, tend to her yard and spend weekends at her beach house in Pismo Beach.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents Jean and Augusta Nogues, brothers Martin, Jean

Pierre, Joseph and daughter Tina Marie.

Tina is survived by her husband Si, sister Yvonne Bidart (Gratian), sons Peter (Jackie), Alan (Liz), daughter Renee Land (David), son in law Paul Ruiz, twelve grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and the rest of a large extended group of loving family and friends.

Services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church 1765 N. Newcomb St., Porterville, CA.

The rosary will be held at 6 pm on Thursday August 9, 2018 and the funeral mass will be at 11 am on Friday, August 10, 2018 Funerai arrangements are being handled by Myers Funeral Services, Porterville, CA
