Man hit in car-to-car shooting crashes on California freeway

Authorities say a man hit by gunfire in a car-tocar shooting survived after crashing into an embankment on a Southern California freeway.

The California Highway Patrol says the victim was found on the ground next to his white Dodge Challenger on the right shoulder of Interstate 210 in San Bernardino Wednesday evening.

KABC-TV reports Thursday that the 29-year-old man was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds described as life-threatening.
