Andrew Louis June

Aug 13, 1945 - Aug 10, 2018 Andrew Louis June, 72 passed away on Friday August 10, 2018.

Andrew was born on August 13, 1945 in Porterville, Ca to Claude and Ethel June.

Andrew grew up in Porterville with his three brothers Jack, Dave, and Tommy. He graduated from Porterville High School in 1963. He then went on to Linfield College in Mcminnville, Oregon where he majored in business. Andrew had many different jobs in his lifetime. As a young man he helped work at the family olive ranch. He was also a school bus driver, a repo man, and a salesman. Andrew eventually went on to own and operate the Pick-em up truck store in Porterville for many years.

Andrew is survived by his brother Dave June of Yuba City, Ca. His wife Sheryl of 39 years and his two sons Adam and Kristopher of Visalia and his three grandchildren, Kiersten June of Selma, Ca and Jason and Grace June of Visalia, Ca.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jack and Tommy.

Andrew loved nature, especially the mountains and the coast. He enjoyed bird watching, going on walks with his wife Sheryl, and Bbqing with his family on the weekends. He also enjoyed working on classic cars and watching automobile restoration shows with his two boys. Andy was also a big fan of old westerns and loved to watch them with his wife Sheryl. He loved going on long drives in the mountains to look at the beautiful wildflowers and other scenery in the spring. He always dreamed of having his own wildlife sanctuary for birds. Andy would make the best homemade ice cream and enjoyed sharing it with everyone at the family reunions.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First Baptist Church in Porterville, Ca or to Camp Sugar Pine. Memorial services will be held at El Nuevo Mexican Restaurant in Porterville CA on September 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
