Jesse E. Lozano passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family and loved ones, on Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was born on November 7, 1943 in Burgas, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Eva Cano and Aurelio C. Lozano.

He was brought to the United States at the young age of 12. He attended School at Bartlett, Portervill­e High School and Portervill­e College. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from March 1965 to August 1969, when he was honorably discharged. On September 10th, 1966, Jesse married Naomi Chavez with whom he had his two beautiful children.

In his spare time, Jesse loved to watch the news to keep up with what was happening in the world. His other hobbies included hunting with friends and family, and collecting guns and cars. He sure loved cars, especially corvettes.

Jesse entered many hearts through his kindness, honesty, humor and one of a kind personalit­y. He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, friend and just an overall loving person. He was always one to make you laugh with the crazy things he said and did. He will be greatly missed by his family friends and just about everyone that crossed paths with him.

He is survived by his two children, son Jesse E. Lozano Jr. and daughter, Noemi Lozano O’connor; three grandchild­ren, Demeraye O’connor, Payton Lozano, and Jacob Lozano; two godchildre­n, Rosalio Chavez, Jr. and David Flores, Jr; two brothers, Aurelio Lozano Jr. and Joe Lozano; and three sisters, Anna Polanco, Rosie Estrada and Eva Cardenas.

Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Service will be held at Myers Chapel on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
