Randle Melton Weldon

Radle Melton Weldon was born in Shay Oklahoma on October 23,1932 to Floyd and Jewel Weldon. Randle lost his battle with bladder cancer and is now at rest and pain free.

Randle is survived by his son Randy, his daughter Sherry Loveland of Portervill­e and Louise Rogers of Bakersfiel­d. He is also survived by his sisters Lynda Jennings, Milderene (Dixie) Austin and brother Bruce. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, his wife Fayrene (Dees) his daughter Norma Colby, his grandson Joey Black and great granddaugh­ter Leah Veteto and three sisters and four brothers. He leaves behind his nine grandchild­ren, nineteen great grandchild­ren and three great great grandchild­ren.

Randle met his wife Fayerene in Alpaugh Calif.

They were married on October 22nd of 1952 and enjoyed fifty-four years of

marriage prior to Faye's passing.

Randle was a devout Christian, lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was instrument­al in establishi­ng a Church of Christ in Winters California.

Randle enjoyed fishing, bluegrass music, working outside, attending church, a good meal and spending time with his family and friends.

Services will be on Thursday the 18th at 3:00 pm at the Portervill­e Funeral Center 765 West Henderson. A reception following the service will be held at the Portervill­e Church of Christ 1000 N. Newcomb. Randle will be buried in Shay Oklahoma his birthplace on the twenty-third of October his birthday. Rest in peace dad until we see you again.
