Randle Melton Weldon
Radle Melton Weldon was born in Shay Oklahoma on October 23,1932 to Floyd and Jewel Weldon. Randle lost his battle with bladder cancer and is now at rest and pain free.
Randle is survived by his son Randy, his daughter Sherry Loveland of Porterville and Louise Rogers of Bakersfield. He is also survived by his sisters Lynda Jennings, Milderene (Dixie) Austin and brother Bruce. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, his wife Fayrene (Dees) his daughter Norma Colby, his grandson Joey Black and great granddaughter Leah Veteto and three sisters and four brothers. He leaves behind his nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Randle met his wife Fayerene in Alpaugh Calif.
They were married on October 22nd of 1952 and enjoyed fifty-four years of
marriage prior to Faye's passing.
Randle was a devout Christian, lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was instrumental in establishing a Church of Christ in Winters California.
Randle enjoyed fishing, bluegrass music, working outside, attending church, a good meal and spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be on Thursday the 18th at 3:00 pm at the Porterville Funeral Center 765 West Henderson. A reception following the service will be held at the Porterville Church of Christ 1000 N. Newcomb. Randle will be buried in Shay Oklahoma his birthplace on the twenty-third of October his birthday. Rest in peace dad until we see you again.
